The context
The Customs and Monopoly Agency is a public entity with offices located in several regions of Italy, one different from another: many of them are prestigious buildings with architectural and landscape constraints, while others are newly constructed buildings.
At least two hundred people enter and exit the offices daily, including employees, maintenance personnel, technicians, and visitors. For security reasons mainly, there was a need to monitor and identify the flow of people within the facilities.
The needs
The client requested a complete access control solution that would also allow identification and registration of external individuals’ access.
In case of larger sites, the need was to have a suitable solution for outdoor spaces as well and in line with the aesthetics and historical value of the buildings.
The solution
After studying the specific characteristics of the agency offices, our experts, along with the assistance of on-site technicians, implemented fully customised projects.
The core of the solution was the GoPlanner software, which, thanks to its adaptability, supported the needs of all offices.
The outcome
The client immediately noticed a much better efficiency in access control, especially when managing external visitors to their premises, in line with the new measures for pandemic containment. Fast, elegant and secure turnstiles were installed at the access points, in line with the aesthetics and architectural value of the buildings.
